WHO

• High School and College Students ages 13-19. We plan to split this group into a younger and an older group.

• Although this group was created for foster teens and recently emancipated foster students, any student ages is welcome to join us!

WHERE

• We'll be meeting once a week on Zoom! You'll get the virtual meeting info after you sign up, about a week prior to the first meeting -- nothing to prepare!

• You can log in to the meeting through a laptop or your smartphone.

WHEN

• After you sign up, you'll get information on the first meeting, day, and time. Meetings will be in the evening, so please select which day you prefer to meet when you sign up.

• The group will launch on MONDAY, JULY 5, 2021 FROM 6PM-8PM with an online WELCOME MEET where we will introduce ourselves and talk about how it will all work.

WHAT

• We haven't picked our first book yet, but after you sign up, we'll send you an email to vote for a book from our "Short List" or you can suggest a different one.

• We will be reading either a chapter or a certain number of pages each week, and then talking about them at the next meeting. We hope everyone will be able to keep up with the reading, but if you don't get it done, please come to the meeting anyway. We promise you'll still learn something AND have fun.

 

HOW MUCH

• Participation in this club is FREE to all members!

• Even your book is FREE -- plus a spiral bound notebook, pencils, and some other goodies to help you prepare for club meetings. When you sign up, we will be asking you for your mailing address so that we can send you the materials you need.
